The twenty-seventh season of Dancing with the Stars will start from September 24, 2018. The last season titled Dancing With the Stars: Athletes saw Olympic skater, Adam Rippon, and professional dancer, Jenna Johnson, crowned winners. Each season of the show sees celebrities pushed to their limits. They have to spend hours rehearsing and learning professional dance routines. This has caused some to leave the competition earlier due to various issues, mostly injuries. Celebrities often leave the show due to injuries.

All The Way Home singer, Tamar Braxton left Dancing With The Stars season 21 after she was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism. Her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, stayed by her side during the hospitalization.
#9. Kim Zolciak-Biermann
Kim Zolciak-Biermann was disqualified after she refused to show up for the show. Kim Zolciak-Biermann, the Don’t Be Tardy reality star, was disqualified after she missed a performance in the twentieth season of Dancing With the Stars. Her doctor had advised her not to fly after she suffered a mini-stroke. Fans campaigned for her return since the reason she had missed the show was out of her hands, but it was unsuccessful. She underwent surgery a few weeks later.

Entertainment Tonight host, Nancy O’Dell, left season 8 of Dancing With The Stars for medical reasons. She needed to undergo surgery.
#7. Sara Evans
Sarah Evans withdrew from Dancing With The Stars for personal reasons. According to Fox News, she left to spend time with family after she filed for divorce from her then-husband, Craig Schelske. She joined the third season of the show in 2006 and was the first country singer on the show. She appeared during the season finale and returned for season 12 to perform “A Little Bit Stronger,” her hit single.

The American professional beach volleyball player, Misty signed up in 2008 for the seventh season of Dancing With The Stars. This was right after she won a gold medal at the Beijing Olympics. She withdrew from the competition after an injury.
#5. Dorothy Hamill
Dorothy took part in the sixteenth season of Dancing With The Stars. The Olympic skater, however, did not last long in the competition. She only performed twice and then dropped out after injuring her back. She said that her spine surgeon advised her to stop since continuing could have caused permanent damage.

Romeo Miller Jr was replaced by his dad Master P, on Dancing With The Stars season 2, after he sustained an injury. He rejoined in season 12 and was partnered with Chelsie Hightower. They got eliminated one week before the semi-final.

The star of Star Wars, Billy Dee, appeared in the eighteenth season of Dancing With the Stars and as paired with the professional dancer, Emma Slater. The actor withdrew from the competition due to chronic back pain.
#2. Tom Delay
Tom Delay, the former Republican House Majority representative, joined the ninth season of Dancing With the Stars. He fractured his foot but still managed to compete. He had to leave the show later though after his other foot suffered a stress fracture. His doctors and show producers advised him to.

She signed up for season eight of Dancing With the Stars but suffered tendonitis in her knees during rehearsals. She vowed to stay in the competition but discovered she was suffering from a fractured tibia and had to leave the show.
