Street Outlaws’ racers are set to race at Bristol for $200,000 prize money
The biggest payday in street racing is coming to TV soon. The Bristol Motor Speedway, in collaboration with Pilgrim Studios and Discovery Channel, announced on July 9 that Street Outlaws would be back with an event on Tuesday, August 21, so mark your calendar.
Bristol Motor Speedway ft. Street Outlaws!
The event will feature the Street Outlaws veterans and new racers from all across the country in the winner-take-all competition for $200,000. You heard it right, $200,000!
All the racers from the Oklahoma top ten list will participate in the mega event, including Justin “Big Chief” Shearer, Daddy Dave, Ryan Martin and more. We will see the participation of 22 more racers from New Orleans, 405, Memphis and other parts of the country. It is a follow-up to the 2017 event, which took place just before the launch of Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings. The event will be filmed for a special for Street Outlaws, which is set to air in early 2019.
This year’s event will see the winner take double the prize money from last year, which was $100,000. The Oklahoma veteran, Big Chief, won the event last year in a grueling final race against Shane. Chief’s defense of the title is set to begin at 1:30 pm. The hugely successful event saw a large number of spectators last year, and if we are to learn anything from it, this year’s event is going to be even more fierce. Double the prize money, Double the fun!
