Facts About Deadliest Catch Star Norman Hansen: His Net Worth 2018

Transcript

Norman Hansen is well-recognized among 'Deadliest Catch' fans as “The Quiet Storm,” a man of mystery.

He is an integral part of the fan favorite F/V Northwestern, which he co-owns with his brothers.

He is the younger brother of captain Sig Hansen and elder brother of deckboss, Edgar.

He along with his brothers grew up fishing during the summers in Bristol Bay, Alaska on salmon gillnetters.

Norman started full-time fishing at 18 after completing high school and decided to try something new when he was 22.

Then, he went to college, where he graduated with automotive engineering and went on to work as an automotive mechanic for a few years.

He joined his brothers on the Northwestern at the age of 35 and has been passionately working as a deckhand throughout the years.

He has also put his mechanical training to good use by alternating his brother Edgar as the F/V’s chief engineer.

In early years, he and Sig used to drag race; Norman in his Camaro and Sig in his El Camino.

He is quite a secretive person. He is known for making fewer comments on ‘Deadliest Catch’ and completing seasons with less conflict.

He got married to a woman named Samantha in November 2014.

His net worth is expected to be somewhere around $1 million.
