Born on May 29, 1957, Danny spent most of his childhood in his hometown in Marianna, Florida. He first got the hang of home improvement at the age of nine when he bought his first electric jigsaw via mail-order catalog with allowance money he had saved.
In 1975, Danny moved to Mobile, Alabama, to attend the University of South Alabama. Moreover, he started working a side job as a handyman. At age 21, Danny started a remodeling business, Lipford Construction, in Mobile, Alabama.
In no time, his passion grew into one of the most famous remodeling companies in the southeast region and continues to operate successfully. Danny made his television debut in 1988 when a small cable company asked him to host a live cable show, Remodelling Today, in Mobile, Alabama.
The small cable show was nationally syndicated in 1988 and later became Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford. The show is currently running in its 21st season and is one of the highest-rated home improvement shows in the United States.

Danny Lipford spends his free time golfing with his mates and coaching his daughters’ basketball teams. From his appearances on TV and radio shows and work in home improvement for decades. And so, he accumulated an estimated net worth of millions of dollars.
