Nickelodeon’s sitcom, Salute Your Shorts, became a fan favorite during its two-season run in the 90s.
From Budnick’s manipulative ploys and Donkey Lips crushing on Dina to their fun-filled camps, fans loved everything about the show.
Let’s take a look at what the cast looks like now and what they’re up to
1. Michael Ray Bower (Donkey Lips)
Bower played the pudgy character, Donkey Lips who occasionally backed-up Budnick’s maneuvers and openly crushed on Dina.
Now 43, he has appeared in flicks like ‘Dude, Where’s My Car?‘ and ‘Witchcraft‘ and has done voice-overs for games like GTA.
2. Kirk Baily (Ug Lee)
Bailey portrayed the camp counselor Ug, who is best known for killing the fun in the camps.
Nowadays, he is an accomplished voice actor providing voice-overs for movies like Big Hero 6, Hotel Transylvania and Frozen.
3. Heidi Lucas (Dina)
By the late 90s, Lucas called quits to acting altogether and went on to pursue her higher education.
She studied at the Indiana University School of Law and presently works as an attorney in Arizona, far from the spotlight.
4. Venus DeMilo (Telly)
DeMilo, who played Afro-American tomboy, Telly, went on to act in several TV series, including ‘Smart Guy’ and ‘Strong Medicine’.
After majoring in film production from Loyola Marymount University, she now works as a senior coordinator at Paramount Studios.
5. Danny Cooksey (Budnick)
Cooksey is best known for his portrayal of ginger-haired bad-boy, Robert “Bobby” Budnick, on the show.
Over the years, Cooksey has done voice works on shows like ‘Static Shock,’ ‘Xiaolin Showdown’ and ‘Phineas and Ferb.’
He is also the lead singer of the band, Shelter Dogs and occasionally joins them for gigs.
