Richard and his GMG crew are well known for transforming the rusty metal into a brand new ride. However, on the upcoming season of the show, the team are looking for a more significant build and more horsepower. Richard will soon be on the hunt around the backyards, garages, and barns to discover the rare rides that are worth restoring.
The Gas Monkey crew will hit the new roads to explore the unfamiliar territories in an attempt to break the new grounds. Reportedly, a guest builder, Big Mike, will collaborate with the crew on custom hot rods throughout the season.
The Bearded Wonder, Kaufman, went on to work on his own company, Arclight Fabrication, after his departure from Fast N’ Loud. However, he has finally made it to the TV screen with his own show which will be more focused towards exploring the sub-cultures of the automobiles. The first episode of the show recently premiered on Discovery Channel on March 6, 2018.
Richard took on Facebook to congratulate his former Gas Monkey’s partner-in-crime on starting his new show. Richard stated, “It’s not buying and selling hot rods for the masses. Everybody knows where he came from; he did a great job here, and I hope he kills it.”
