Native of Pennsylvania, she got her education from Upper Merion Area High School in King of Prussia. After that, she went to study at Penn State University. She graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. During her college years, Salters was a part of the basketball team.

At a height of 5’ 2’’, she was remembered for being the shortest player in the history of the Penn State. Despite her short height, she was a valuable team player.

She held the position as a guard for the women’s basketball team called the Lady Lions.Right after graduation, in 1988, Salters joined WBAL-TV in Baltimore as a reporter. After that, she worked for ABC News based in Los Angeles as a correspondent and covered major topics such as the Oklahoma City bombing trials and the O.J. Simpson murder case.

In 2000, she joined ESPN as a general assignment reporter and is working there till date. She is currently the sideline reporter forMonday Night Football. Additionally, she has covered the 2006 Winter Olympics and 2002 FIFA World Cup.

In 2006, she joined ABC as a lead sideline reporter covering NBA on ABC. In 2007, she covered 2007 NBA Finals. In 2008, she got nominated for Sports Emmy Award for the stint in Ray Of Hope.

Lisa joined Monday Night Football in 2012 by replacing Suzy Kolber and became a full-time sideline reporter there alongside Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden. Her wonderful career has earned her a net worth of $2.3 million.

Family and personal life:

As for her personal life, Salters has been living single independent life. She is not married yet, however, she did not let that get in the way of entering motherhood. In 2012, she adopted a son whom she named as Samuel. She does not have other children.
