American actor John DeLuca is best known for his starring role in the Disney Channel Original Movie Teen Beach and its sequel, Teen Beach 2. In addition to this, he has also guest starred in a number of television series.

John DeLuca early life

John was born on April 25, 1986, in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. While he was in his senior year of high school, John auditioned for the production of The Wizard of Oz. After being selected, his enthusiasm towards acting grew and, John made the decision to commit to acting.

In 2004, John earned graduated from Longmeadow High school. Then after, John attended Fordham University as a theater major. He graduated in 2008.

John DeLuca movies and television shows

John made his television debut with minor roles in Ugly Betty and 30 Rock in 2009. Two years later, he was seen in television shows such as Lights Out, Wizards of Waverly Place and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

He made his film debut in 2012 with We Made This Movie. In early 2013, he made an appearance in the Disney Channel sitcom, Jessie, with actress Maia Mitchell. He reunited with Mitchell in Teen Beach the same year.

John reprised his role in the sequel, Teen Beach 2, in 2015. The role of Butchy proved to be a breakthrough for the actor as he gained a substantial amount of fame from this appearance. He even shared a Teen Choice Award nomination with his cast for the movie.

Later he had a lead role in the comedy, Staten Island Summer. On April 4, 2016, he officially joined the cast of the long-running ABC medical drama series, General Hospital. He is presently portraying the recurring character of Aaron Roland. In 2016, he also began appearing as a recurring character on East Los High’s fourth season.
