How will Deadliest Catch Season 14 be like? Here’s a sneak peek
The wait is finally over for ‘Deadliest Catch’ fans. The official trailer for ‘Deadliest Catch’ season 14 is finally out.
The long-awaited new season is set to premiere on April 10, 2018.
Reportedly, the season is the roughest, toughest and competitive crab season ever.
The season starts with the crew of the crab boats paying tribute to the lost crew of the boat, Destination, which sank in the Bering Sea.
There’s a lot to look forward to, including the return of F/V Cornelia Marie with Josh Harris at the helm.
However, according to the network, there’re also injuries and Coast Guard rescues stacking up at alarming rates.
One of the deckhands of Summer Bay falls overboard during a storm, and Captain Wild Bill faces one of the worst engine failures of his career.
The upcoming season will also see the struggles of the Brenna A’s young gun, Captain Sean Dwyer, in the deadliest storms.
The F/V Saga is set to return with a $750k makeover and putting the pressure on Captain Jake Anderson to produce.
But, he’ll have to do this without his mentor, Captain Sig, as the trailer shows him having heated conversation with Sig.
Fans were so much worried about F/V Northwestern Sig Hansen’s return to the show amidst his health issues.
Now, be excited to watch how Sig proves that he’s still best in the business.
Sources revealed that Sig is feeling strong after his 2016 heart attack.
Season 14 will be more interesting to watch as it will feature young captains trying to prove themselves.
As seen in the trailer, F/V Wizard could also be in trouble as Captain Keith announces his million-dollar quota with excitement about the prospect of Bairdi fishing grounds being opened.
The all-new season of the show is set to air on the Discovery Channel at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, on April 10.
