Finn Wolfhard is a Canadian actor well recognized for his portrayal of Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series, Stranger Things.
He was born on December 23, 2002, in Vancouver, Canada.
His father, Eric Wolfhard is a writer and his brother Nick Wolfhard is an actor.
He developed an interest in acting after watching Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man.
Finn’s acting debut came in the independent film, Aftermath in 2013 which was followed by another film, The Resurrection, the same year.
His outstanding talents got him guest roles in the prime-time TV series like ‘The 100’ and ‘The Supernatural.’
But it was the Netflix’s supernatural drama series, Stranger Things that catapulted his career to new heights.
He gathered a huge fan base playing Mike Wheeler in the series and earned a SAG Award along with the rest of the cast.
His feature film debut was in 2017 big-screen adaptation of Stephen King’s horror novel, It, where he played the role of Richie Tozier.
He will be voicing the role of Player in the Netflix animated series, Carmen Sandiego, which is set to premiere in 2019.
Finn appeared in Canadian punk rock band, PUP’s two music videos, Guilt Trip (2014) and Sleep in the Heat (2016).
Additionally, he co-directed and starred in Spendtime Palace’s music video, Sonora in 2017.
Apart from acting, Finn is also a musician. He is the lead singer and guitarist of a Vancouver-based alternative band called Calpurnia.
Reportedly, he receives a huge salary of over $30,000 per episode of Stranger Things and currently has $2 million in his account.
