An American reality star, Barry Weiss rose to fame as the cast member of A&E TV series, Storage Wars. He was a part of the show since season 1, which aired on December 1, 2010. Well, after appearing for four seasons, he decided to step back from the show.
Early career details
Though Barry was into antique collection from the early age of 15, he started working with brother in a grocery. The brother jointly owned a massive business of supplying grocery, Northern Produce. Later, after earning some good fortune through wholesale produce business, he retired to follow his passion of storage hunting.
After his retirement from the shop, he traveled all over the world for several years. Later, he returned home spending million dollars to enjoy his passion for antiques and collection.

His interest in collecting vintage vehicles all around the US impressed the producers, and he was featured in the A&E TV series, Storage Wars. The show which aired on December 2012, showcases the professional buyers who visit storage facilities all around the state.
His passion towards the collection of antiques led him to collect several vintage cars namely, 1932 Ford, 1940 Ford COE Truck, Ducati Diavel and also a customized Harley Davidson. Some of his vehicle collection were also featured in Storage Wars. When the show and Barry himself were kissing the success, he decided to step back after the end of season 4. About his exit, he said,
I had a blast. It was fun, but I had enough and I kind of wanted to leave while it was still popular.
However, besides this statement his fans are still curious to know about the actual reason behind him leaving the show. That is somehow still unanswered till date.
After evacuating from the show, he got his spin-off series; Barry’d Treasure on the same network. The series which premiered its first season on March 18, 2014, documents the collector who travels across the US in search of rare collectibles and antiques. Unfortunately, the show was called off the same year after airing the 8th episode of season 1.
After getting the show canceled, he preferred staying out of the spotlight. Despite having massive followers on social sites, who would now and then wait for the updates from Barry were let down, as he decided to bid goodbye to the social media as well.
Later, in 2015, he was featured in another spin-off show, called Storage Wars: Barry Strikes Back, which showcases the scenes behind every moments and commentary from the best-loved episodes of Storage Wars. Apart from his interest in collecting vintage goods, he had also expressed his interest towards producing a motorsport show.
Throughout his successful career, he has banked a lucrative amount. More recently, he has also bought a lavish house of $1.8 million in Los Angeles. The house has a view of Natalie Portman catching some rays poolside. As of 2018, he has an estimated net worth of $10 million.
