Andy Cohen
Andy Cohen is an American talk show host, writer, and producer. He is best known for his talk show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Bravo and is the first openly gay late-night talk show host in America. Andy is also associated with The Real Housewives franchise, of which he is an executive producer.
Andy Cohen was born as Andrew Joseph Cohen on June 2, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri to Evelyn and Lou Cohen. He went to Clayton High School in Missouri and has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University.
He began his career at CBS News as an intern and spent a decade there, eventually rising to the position of a senior producer. In 2004, he joined Bravo. Over the years, Andy has made regular appearances on television shows like Today, Morning Joe, Saturday Night Live, The View, and Morning Show.
In 2010, Andy was awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Competitive Reality Series for his credit as executive producer of Top Chef. He has won Peabody Awards for his contribution to the documentary The N-Word and reality show, Project Runway. As an author, he has published three New York Times Best Selling books.
Since 2015, Andy has also been hosting a radio show called RadioAndy on SiriusXM. Alongside Anderson Cooper, Andy is presently on tour for their live show, AC2: An Intimate Evening with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen.
Andy has been in a relationship with Harvard graduate, Clifton Dassuncao, for two years.
