Bet you can’t name a more iconic duo in television than Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. With their live touring show, AC2: An Intimate Evening with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, the longtime friends have teamed up to provide an intimate insight into their lives and look forward to having “deep talk” and sharing “shallow tales” with the audience.
“It’s like going out to a bar with us,” says Cohen, and Cooper has joked that they “encourage drinking” during the show. AC2 features the hosts interviewing one another, interacting with the audience, and sharing videos their videos that didn’t make it to television.
The seed for the show was sown in 2015 when Cooper interviewed Cohen at New York’s 92nd Street Y. “That was so much fun, though we didn't think it would turn into anything. Now, it's kind of taken on a life of its own,” said Cooper to The Oregonian in February 2017.
For the month of March, the pair headed over to the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis, IN, on Friday, March 10. A day later, they were at the Louisville Palace Theatre in Louisville, KY.
There are only two dates available for April; on the 28th and 29th, at the Hippodrome Theatre, Baltimore, MD, and Providence Performance Arts Center, Providence, RI, respectively. Their May 6 show at the Borgata in Atlantic City seems to be sold out according to the AC2 official website.
The show will move to Pheonix, AZ, next at the Comerica Theatre on June 9, and to Salt Lake City, UT, at the Eccles Theatre a day later. Tickets for these venues are available on the website.
The tickets for their following shows in Nashville (October 6, Ryman Auditorium), Tampa (October 7, Straz Center), and Houston (December 2, Smart Financial Center) are yet to be available for sale.
