Some of his vehicle collection were also featured in Storage Wars. When the show and Barry himself were kissing the success, he decided to step back after the end of season 4. About his exit, he said,
I had a blast. It was fun, but I had enough and I kind of wanted to leave while it was still popular.
However, besides this statement his fans are still curious to know about the actual reason behind him leaving the show. That is somehow still unanswered till date.
After evacuating from the show, he got his spin-off series; Barry’d Treasure on the same network. The series which premiered its first season on March 18, 2014, documents the collector who travels across the US in search of rare collectibles and antiques. Unfortunately, the show was called off the same year after airing the 8th episode of season 1.
After getting the show canceled, he preferred staying out of the spotlight. Despite having massive followers on social sites, who would now and then wait for the updates from Barry were let down, as he decided to bid goodbye to the social media as well.
