Erin Burnett
Dubbed as the “International Superstar” Erin Burnett is one of the renowned media personalities in the United States. Currently anchoring her own news show Erin Burnett OutFront on CNN, she rose to prominence from Morning Joe, Squawk on the Street, and NBC Nightly News.
For her show on CNN, the news anchor has traveled in various parts of the world including Mali, Rwanda, Israel, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Likewise, she has established herself as an expertise in filming documentaries. Democratic republic of Congo, Nigeria, Libya and the United Arab Emirates are some of the countries where she has filmed her documentaries.
Erin Burnett was born on 2nd July 1976 in Mardela Springs, Maryland to parents Esther Margaret and Kenneth King Burnett. She belongs to the white ethnic group.
Burnett received college preparatory education from St. Andrew’s School. After graduating from there in 1994, she joined Williams College, located in Williamstown, Massachusetts and graduated with bachelor’s degree in Political Economy. At college, she used to play field hockey and lacrosse.
At present, Erin Burnett is married and she has two adorable children. As reported by sources, her husband is Jewish but Burnett still adheres to Catholic beliefs.
