Dumb and Dumber actor Zen Gesner is a renowned name in the American show business. The versatile actor has been a part of several critically acclaimed projects. Famed for portraying the role of Sinbad in the television series The Adventures of Sinbad, Gesner has been a part of movies such as Osmosis Jones, Me, Myself and Irene, Shallow Hal, and There is Something About Mary. 

Gesner made his Hollywood debut with the 1994 comedy Dumb and Dumber starring Jim Carry. The movie was a hit and launched Gesner as a dedicated professional. Despite the success of his debut movie, the actor had to work hard in order to land a career-defining role. And that opportunity came with the fantasy series, The Adventures of Sinbad. 

Born to an actress mother, Gesner was passionate about music since his childhood and thrived as an actor while still attending Santa Monica High School. A natural performer, Gesner displayed his acting skills when he bagged roles in school plays Nicholas Nickleby and The Sound of Music. He later joined the South Coast Repertory Theatre in Orange County. Currently residing in California, Gesner is married to his lady love, Cynthia Farrelly Gesner. They are parents to their three children.

Gesner was born on 23rd June 1970 as Zen Brant Gesner in Van Nuys, Los Angeles. He was born to actress Nan Martin and architect Harry Gesner. He is the only child to his parents, however, he has three half-siblings from his parents' previous marriages.
