Facts about XXXTentacion that you may not have known
The hip-hop industry recently witnessed the loss of one of the most talented young artists as XXXTentacion was fatally shot dead on June 18. The controversial hitmaker was killed in Miami, Florida after he reportedly left motorsports dealership in Deerfield Beach. After multiple shot fires, the unconscious rapper was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he did not make it. Later, he was pronounced dead at 5:30 pm. He has given some real music to the world and here are some facts about the Sad singer that you need to know.
Dozens of felony charges
Since his very first hit single “Look at me” which was first uploaded in Soundcloud in 2015, he has been in the headlines for serious legal troubles. From the domestic violence accusations by his pregnant ex-girlfriend in 2016 to witness tampering for coercing the woman who landed him in prison in December 2017, he got into a number of felony charges between that. He was awaiting trial, before the misfortune happened on June 18.
He was famous for the violence celebrated in the songs: earning an intense fandom. Who cares about his crimes when he has dropped some emotionally raw songs? Perhaps, not his fans.
Two hit albums
While XXXTentacion was working on his new album, he used to update about the progress on his Instagram stories. Without a doubt, fans had been expecting a lot from the rising hip-hop artist. Damn, now that he is gone, fans’ expectation has crashed.
He released his first album entitled 17, on August 25, 2017, and the second album titled ? on March 16, 2018. His seven songs from his debut album were ranked on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His singles, “Sad!” and “Changes” from the second album made it to 17th and 37th position respectively on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
A charity event that could never happen
As per XXXTentacion’s last Instagram live video, he dreamt of making at least 5 million kids happy, and it seems like he was trying to bring that in action with some charity events.
XXXTentacion’s last Instagram story says, “planning a charity event for this weekend Florida!” How unfortunate it is that the footsteps towards good deeds have been stopped.
Predicted his own death
XXXTentacion who rarely gave interviews would often interact with fans through Instagram and Soundcloud. After the news of his death surfaced, his fans shared his alleged last live Instagram video on which he mentioned what to remember him by. In a way, he did predict his death. It’s hard to believe, right?
Prompting people to leave a positive life and encouraging them to try hard to pursue their dream, he said to his fans, “don’t let your body define your soul, let your soul find your body.” He also mentioned, “If I’m going to die or ever be a sacrifice, I want to make sure that my life made at least five million kids happy or they found some sort of answers or resolve in my life regardless of the negative around my name, regardless of the bad things people say to me.”
Now, this is some sort of heartbreaking words that XXXTentacion has left within us.
