His second marriage was to Suzanne Marie Mergele. Suzanne was Rawlings’s girlfriend for quite some time before he asked her to marry him. The couple got married on 7th August 1999 in Las Vegas.

During this time, Rawlings started the Lincoln Press, a printing and advertisement company, and later in 2002, he started Gas Monkey Garage. Richard was very busy trying to build his business and couldn’t find time for his wife. Sadly, after a decade of being married, the couple got divorced in 2009.

Richard Rawlings remarried Suzanne Rawlings after six years

6 years after the divorce, Rawlings fell in love with his long-time sweetheart Suzanne all over again and they got married. The relationship was just a rumor back in 2013 when the couple was seen at a charity event at The Back 9 Sports Bar near Dallas and in 2014 at Cattle Baron’s Ball, Dallas, Texas.

Before they got remarried in 2015, they went on a trip to Cabo to surprise their mutual friend, Dennis Collins, on his birthday. The couple sorted out their past problems and decided to re-unite with each other.

When Rawlings was asked about this by DFW.com he replied that “it was spur-of-the-moment down in Cabo." In January, he also talked about the incident on his Facebook post, "Came down to Cabo to surprise my best friend on his birthday and ended up marrying my other best friend! GYSOT!!”

It's clear that Rawlings and Suzanne were made for each other and even with all their history they are yet to have kids. With 1.2 million fans on Twitter, Rawlings would have kept his fans in the loop of such amazing news if that was the case but until then we'll have to wait.
