Cody Lee Nickson served in United State Air Force and United States Marine Corps. After his time in the Army, he was given an honorary discharge and expert rifle marksmanship medal. The winner of The Amazing Race had ranks of Corporal and Staff Sergeant.

Richard Benjamin Harrison Jr., mostly known as the “Old Man” from the famous reality TV series, Pawn Stars, served in the Navy for 22 years. During his time at the Navy, Harrison attended the rank of petty officer first class and did a stint as the paymaster. Later in life, he started the pawn business with his son, Rick Harrison, and opened World Famous Gold and Silver Pawn Shop.
