After nearly four years since the tragic incident took away the life of Paul Walker, he still remains in a special place in the hearts of many millions worldwide. And on his birthday, fans miss him wholeheartedly.

Paul Walker (born Paul William Walker IV) was born on this day in the year 1973 in Glendale, California. He was the eldest of five children born to fashion model Cheryl (née Crabtree) and boxer Paul William Walker III.

Beginning his small screen career as a toddler, Walker started modeling at just 2. And within years of officially launching his acting career, he claimed fame portraying Brian O’Conner in The Fast and the Furious in 2001.

Paul Walker died doing what he loved the most

The tragedy occurred on November 30 of 2013 at around 3:30 PM PST. Walker and his good friend Roger Rodas, 38, were driving a Porsche Carrera GT after returning from an event for victims of Typhoon Haiyan for Walker’s charity, Reach Out Worldwide.

The red car which Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas was riding is hitting a tree. The car is badly damaged and burnt.

Speeding at 80 to 93 miles per hour, the car crashed into a concrete lamp post on Hercules Street near Kelly Johnson Parkway in Valencia, Santa Clarita. The car caught fire after the accident which burnt both of their bodies beyond recognition. Later, it was reported that Roger had died of multiple trauma while Paul had died from trauma and burns.

Walker’s body was later cremated and buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.

He died doing two things he cherished the most, charity and driving.
