Nancy Juvonen was born on May 18, 1967, in Marin County, California. Juvonen has Finnish roots. Her father is a former marine aviator who worked as an Executive of Aviation industry William H. Juvonen. He is a graduate of Stanford University. In September 1961, while he was undergoing fleet replacement pilot training in VMF 334, he experienced wing failure and had to eject from the plane. She is the sister of writer and producer, Jim Juvonen.
Juvonen worked odd jobs after graduating. She graduated with a degree in sociology and cooperative education at the University of Southern California. She worked as a private flight attendant at the dude ranch in Wyoming and also worked as an artist and tried to eliminate homelessness.

She got her big break as an assistant to Clarence Clemons who is a member of E Street band and settled in San Francisco. She met Drew Barrymore through her brother Jim on the set of Mad Love in 1995.
She co-owns her own production company Flower Films with Drew Barrymore. She is a producer and writer well known for Never Been Kissed (1999), Charlie’s Angels (2000), 50 First Dates (2004) and 2016’s How To Be Single.
In 2001, she worked as an actress in the movie Donnie Darko. Juvonen is working on her a horror- comedy web television series Santa Clarita Diet starring Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant for Netflix.

She has been married to comedian Jimmy Fallon, host of The Tonight Show, since December 22, 2007. They were introduced by Drew Barrymore on the set of Fever Pitch in 2004.
They began dating after meeting Fallon at a party thrown for Nancy by Drew Barrymore in 2007. Fallon proposed Nancy in August 2007 on the dock at sunset with a ring designed by Neil Lane at Nancy’s family home. The couple got married after four months of engagement on December 22, 2007.
The duo is now a parent to two daughters, Winnie Rose who was born on July 23, 2013, and Frances Cole Fallon who was born on December 3, 2014, via surrogacy. They did not reveal the news of their baby girl until she was born. As of now, the picture-perfect family of four is now sharing a blissful life.
