Mehriban Aliyeva has not only gained attention as an emerging political figure and philanthropist in Azerbaijan but also for her appearance. It isn’t hard to notice that the First Lady and now newly appointed Vice President of Azerbaijan is fashion conscious. 

As the most popular member of her illustrious family and wife of President Ilham Aliyev, Mehriban has maintained a classy front with figure-hugging dresses that give younger women a run for their money. In a US embassy cable titled Azerbaijan: Who Owns What? leaked by WikiLeaks in 2010, it was revealed that Mehriban might have had cosmetic surgery to keep up with her growing age. ” On television, in photos, and in person, she appears unable to show a full range of facial expression,” it says.
