Marina Squerciati is an American actress, best known as Officer Kim Burgess from police procedural drama series Chicago P.D. She has been appearing as the main cast of the series since it premiered in 2014 and has guest-starred in the series’ spinoffs Chicago Fire and Chicago Med.

Marina has also performed in plays. She made her Broadway debut from an adaptation of 1942 released film To Be or Not to Be. Later, she appeared in various off-Broadway productions including Just in Time: The Judy Holiday Story, which earned her an Agnes Moorehead Award as well.
She made her debut film appearance in 1993 from The Nutcracker but it was only in 2009 that she received viewers’ attention by playing a small role in romantic comedy film It’s Complicated. The same year, she debuted as a television actress by playing the role of Betsy Naylor in an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Beginning her television career as a part of a police procedural drama, Marina has become one of the most recognized faces of the genre. She has also drawn significant attention by appearing in legal dramas like Damages and The Good Wife.

She is yet to reveal the name of her baby daddy but fans have started to assume her co-star and alleged boyfriend, Patrick Flueger, to be the father of her baby.
