Mandy Hansen is the one of the crew of F/V Northwestern, which is featured in Discovery’s ‘Deadliest Catch.’

She is the daughter of Sig Hansen and his wife, June Hansen.

Sig adopted June’s two daughters, Nina and Mandy when the two married.

Mandy has spent most of her summers during the salmon tendering season on the boat since she was little.

She is now working as a greenhorn during the Opilio season, and as Sig doesn’t approve fisherwomen, it will be interesting to see how she will adapt.

She also aspired to go to a maritime academy, where she can learn to run freighters and ocean liners.

She got married to a fellow fisherman and crew member of F/V Northwestern,   on June 10, 2017.

The wedding took place at the Pacific Fisherman Shipyard in front of the F/V Northwestern in a traditional Norwegian style.

Mandy walked down the gangway with her father from the family boat.

With a new member added to the Hansen family, Sig might just retire and pass the responsibility to Edgar, Mandy and Clark.

Mandy has already proven her worth as a Hansen, and with her determination and hard work, she has become a fan-favorite.
