Lisa Kudrow played a role of dim-witted and self-centered chartacter as Phoebe Buffay on the NBC TV sitcom Friends from its debut in 1994 to the 10th and final season in 2004. With the growing fan base and popularity, she received a handsome paycheck of 1 million USD per episode which established Kudrow as the highest-paid actress at that time along with Friends co-stars, Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox.
