Lisa Kelly is an American Trucker known for appearing on the History Channel’s reality TV series, Ice Road Truckers.

She was born on December 8, 1980, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She grew up on a small farm in Sterling, Alaska, where her family moved when she was 6.

She returned to Grand Rapids and attended Cornerstone University, but left after one semester.

She drove school bus, worked at various gas stations and pizza company, and also won state freestyle motocross championship.

Afterward, she decided to pursue a long-term career and trained as a trucker because it was what she found interesting.

Then, she got a job to drive for Carlile Transportation, an Alaskan haulage company.

Kelly says that being a truck driver as a woman is a difficult achievement, as she had to work twice as hard.

Now, she is recognized throughout the world as one of the truckers of the History Channel’s

series, Ice Road Truckers.

She first appeared in the season 3 in 2009 as the only woman and made subsequent appearances in season 4 and 5.

She declined an offer to return to season 6 to take a year off but appeared in season 7 and 9.

She also took part in the Ice Road Truckers’ spin-off series, Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads along with Dave Redmon, Rick Yemm and Alex Debogorski.

In the spin-off series, she trucked in the Himalayas of India and also drove in Peru and Bolivia.

In 2008, she got married to Traves Kelly, an avid dirtbiker, after dating for four years.

Traves is full Aleut Native Alaskan.

Apart from her career as a trucker, she is interested in motocross, horse riding, skydiving, snowboarding and hang gliding.

Also an animal lover, she owns a cat named Tanzi and a miniature horse, which she has named as Rocky.
