American singer and songwriter, Garth Brooks (born Feb 7, 1962) got into the music business performing in bars while he was studying advertising at Oklahoma State University. Now, he is famous for his integration of rock and roll elements into country genre and is dubbed as one of the best-selling artists of all time with 170m record sales worldwide. As of 2018, the two Grammy winner is the only artist in the history to have 7 diamond-certified albums in the US surpassing The Beatles’ record of 6.

With his comeback in 2009, Brooks started Garth at Wynn, a periodic concert residency at Encore Theatre in Las Vegas, which lasted till January 2014. Brooks concert at Notre Dame Stadium on Oct. 20, will be broadcast on CBS from 8 to 10 pm on December 2. He has said that it was one of the best nights of his life.
