After a year of dating, Elon Musk and Amber Heard have broken up! Reportedly, it was Musk who dumped his model girlfriend. The 46-year-old business tycoon apparently ended things a week ago.

A source told Daily Mail that things had not been well between the two for some time. Musk ended things with her a week ago after finding out something that Heard did and that didn’t sit well with him.
The source also revealed that Heard can be “manipulative and selfish.”
UPDATE: Musk has addressed the break up with a comment on Amber Heard’s Instagram photo. The billionaire wrote, “Just to clear up some of the press storm this weekend, although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another.”
It has been reported that the couple’s busy schedules and long distance was the reason behind their break up. Heard is currently busy filming for her upcoming movie Aquaman in the Gold Coast.
“Long distance relationships when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds,” continued Musk.

Amber Heard is “devastated” after break up
It appears that Heard has failed at love yet again. Before romancing the billionaire, Heard was unhappily married to actor Johnny Depp. Heard and Depp divorced after Heard accused him of domestic violence.
During this time, Musk was also in the process of divorcing his wife Talulah Riley for the second time.
Heard is presently in Australia and according to a source is “devastated” because of the break-up. She took to Instagram on August 8 to address the situation. Under the caption of a photo, she wrote:
Being in the public eye means having to explain yourself to so many people, so much of the time. In this case, I’d like to remain more quiet. Although we have broken up, Elon and I care deeply for one another and remain close.
