Dave Briggs is an American news anchor who presently works for CNN. He is the former co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend. He left Fox News channel at the end of 2012.

Briggs was born on 11th of October 1976. The University of Colorado, Boulder graduate holds a degree in Broadcast News. After graduating in 1999, he ventured into the broadcasting industry.
At the beginning of his career, he served KOKI-TV, where he worked as sports anchor during weekends from 2002-2004. He then moved to WHDH-TV and worked there as a reporter and sports broadcaster from 2004 to 2008. He also worked as a host and a reporter for Comcast SportsNet, New England.
Then in the year 2008, he joined the Fox News Channel and worked as a co-anchor for Fox and Friends Weekend, along with Ainsley Earhardt and Clayton Morris. Occasionally, he also hosted Strategy Room, a web show on Fox News.

However, Dave was not satisfied with the success and wanted to reach a higher position. With this dream, in one of the episodes of his show, he announced that he would be leaving Fox Channel by the end of 2012. He told that the experiences he had at Fox News were the best moments of his life.
After leaving the Fox Channel, he started broadcasting sports news on MSNBC. At present, he co-hosted the program The Crossover with Beadle and Briggs on NBC sports network.
The program started in January 2013. But the show was called off after few months reason being its low ratings.
Dave then landed on NBCSN’s SportsDash, he hosted the show along with Carolyn Manno. Brigg came up with a new show in association with CNN namely Early Start on February 23, 2017.
