Landry was born on April 25, 1989, in Pierre Part, LA, to an alligator hunter, Troy Landry and school teacher, Bernita.
He has two brothers, Brandon and Jacob.
The Landrys have been hunting alligators for the past five generations, leading to Chase’s interest in hunting.
Chase, along with his father and older brother, Jacob, has been hunting alligators in and out of the reality TV series, Swamp People.
He started appearing in the show in season 3, working beside cast members like RJ and Jay Paul Molinere.
The show premiered on August 22, 2010, and is currently running in its ninth season.
In August 2016, when Louisiana was hit with a flood, he spent five days rescuing the victims on his homemade, 20-foot aluminum flat-bottom boat.
