Dog the Bounty Hunter stars Beth Chapman and Duane Chapman have been through a lot this year. And finally, they have some good news to share.

On Saturday, January 26, Beth took to Instagram to share the big news of welcoming her first great-grandson. Likewise, Dakota Dog shared it on his personal account.

Beth Chapman Welcomes Great Grand Child

With a picture of the newborn, Beth congratulated the father of the baby, Dakota Chapman and also Leland Chapman, who welcomed his first grandchild. Dakota also took to Instagram to share the big news with his 86k followers with a heart-touching caption.

She was first diagnosed with stage II throat cancer back in September 2017 and was announced cancer-free two months later. Later, in November 2018, she underwent emergency surgery after, which is when the doctors discovered cancer has returned. Beth started her chemotherapy in December and in Jan 2019, the family’s attorney, Andrew R. Brettler shared,

“Beth started chemo for throat cancer last month. The treatments are in L.A. They are going well, but they certainly take their toll on her…The Chapmans have a lot on their plate right now. They just started filming for the new WGN show while Beth’s been going through treatment. Hasn’t been easy but they are keeping a great outlook and Beth is one of the strongest women I know.”

More recently, Beth and Duane announced their new TV show, Dog’s Most Wanted on social media.
