Beth Chapman from Dog the Bounty Hunter is currently fighting for her life positively after her throat cancer returned in November. She isn’t letting her health issues get in the way of enjoying Christmas.
Beth Chapman Health Updates!
On Saturday, the 51 years old reality star shared a photo from a restaurant. She seemed to be in a good condition as wore a smile while posing with a martini in her hand.
She had emergency surgery on Nov. 27 after doctors found a throat blockage by “large mass” obstructing her airways. It was discovered that cancer had spread to one of her lungs. Just a week after surgery, she left the hospital against doctor’s orders to spend quality time with her husband and rest of the family in her hometown Colorado. The family celebrated Leland Chapman’s 42nd birthday together on December 14.
She was first diagnosed with stage II throat cancer in September 2017 and was in good condition after surgery. Her cancer battle was chronicled in A&E special, Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives, in November 2017. Now, according to Dog, Beth is taking over-the-counter medication avoiding the medicines that doctors have prescribed her. Asking for prayers through his wife’s tough time, Dog said,
"She's still trying to cook and get involved in my bounties and business. She's still trying to do everything. Beth is the kind of girl who likes control. She's trying to still advise me on my work, and I’m like, 'Honey, I was the Dog the Bounty Hunter before I met you. Stay out of it!'"
After learning about Beth’s incurable condition, he said to Us Weekly,
"I don't listen to the bad news. I don't want to hear it... I pray a lot, anywhere. I cry all the time. I'm a sinner. I pray a lot. I have done double that. I constantly ask God to heal my honey and make sure He takes care of it. I've been telling Him that I'm going to try and quit smoking and cursing. I'm a dealmaker, and I'll do anything."
Get Well Soon, Beth!
