The Rains of Castamere GOT Season 3 Episode 9

Game of Thrones writers took fans for a hell of an emotional rollercoster ride in The Rains of Castamere.

In the middle of the carnage, which has been named the Red Wedding, is King in the North Robb Stark and his very pregnant wife Talisa, both of whom die cruelly at the hands of the Freys.

Catelyn Stark sees a similar fate as her eldest, as do every Winterfell men present in the room. The episode is not for the faint of the heart as it’s impossible to watch the Red Wedding without gasping in horror.
