Samantha Grant, a writer and former actress, is popularly known as the half-sister of Prince Harry’s fiancee Meghan Markle. Recently, Samantha has been making the headlines for her ungrateful comments on her sister Meghan Markle.

Her early career

Samantha Grant, also known as Samantha Markle, is a 52-year-old former actress and model. She was born to Thomas Markle Sr and his first-wife Roslyn and shares a brother, Thomas Jr with her parents.

Samantha has a half-brother named Bobby from the discrete relationship of her mother. Her half-sibling, Meghan Markle, is the daughter of Thomas Markle Sr and his second wife, Doria.

Samantha once had a successful Hollywood career. Her fans still know her for appearing in the movies such as The Participant (2013), Choices (2012), and Matlock (1986). Unfortunately, her career as an actress came to an end after she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008. Her declining health status has now compelled to be wheel-chair bounded.

Estrangement with half-sister Meghan Markle

Samantha has been the most vocal member of the Markle family since the romance of Meghan and Prince Harry broke out. She got in the headlines after making some negative comments on her half sister. She claimed that Meghan has not been in touch with her since she was bounded in the wheelchair. In an interview, in November 2016, Samantha described her half-sister as a ‘shallow social climber’ and claimed that Meghan was not around with her family when they needed her the most.

In April 2017, Samantha revealed that she would soon release a memoir of so-called the inside story of her half-sibling, Meghan Markle, entitled The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister. She also stated that she is planning to star in a reality show.

However, in October 2017, Samantha dismissed the rumors rift by rather describing her sister as lovely while appearing in the Good Morning Britain. She had her quick say regarding Meghan’s engagement with Prince Harris.

In late 2017, Prince Harry bashed Samatha claiming that she was jealous of her half-sister for being the part Royal Family which Samantha apparently couldn’t. Samantha took on Twitter stating, “No one was estranged, she was just too busy, Meg’s family is complete with sister, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins and the glue of our family, our amazing completely self-sacrificing father. She always had this family, marrying merely extends it.”

Despite congratulating her sister for the engagement, Samantha went on to comment on the Markle’s dress which she wore for her engagement announcement photos with Prince Harry. She said,“If you can spend $75,000 on a dress, you can spend $75,000 on your dad.” Days after days she has been making the headlines for her words on social sites.
