911 call reveals Chester Bennington’s dead body was found by housekeeper
The 911 call reporting Chester Bennington’s suicide has revealed that his dead body was found by his housekeeper. The Linkin Park frontman tragically committed suicide at his Los Angeles residence last week. He was 41.

The tape was released on Monday. It features the voice of the distraught female housekeeper who can be heard crying in the background.
Also present at the scene was a driver who had come to pick up Chester. It was the driver who made the 911 call.
“I’m a driver and I just got to the location and his housekeeper came out and said that he killed himself,” says the driver. “I haven’t seen him. I’m sitting in the car. His housekeeper came up to me and said that he… she found him dead.”
He then explains that the housekeeper is relaying the news to Chester’s wife, Talinda, on the phone.

Linkin Park’s official statement has been released
On Monday, Linkin Park posted their official statement following the death of Bennington. The Facebook post read, “Our hearts are broken. The shock waves of grief and denial are still sweeping through our family as we come to grips with what has happened.”
In the note, they wrote briefly about the band’s future. “Your absence leaves a void that can never be filled…Our love for making and performing music is inextinguishable. While we don’t know what path our future may take, we know that each of our lives was made better by you.”
