Lori Stokes’ shocking departure from WABC in May has fans searching for clues as to where the veteran anchor’s headed next. And it doesn’t help one bit that she has deactivated her official Facebook, depriving fans of a source of information. 

But it’s been rumored that Stokes might join Fox 5 next. FTVLive has reported that the 54-year-old Cleveland native will anchor Good Day New York in the fall with longtime Fox 5 face Rosanna Scotto.

The rumors began after another big shot female anchor Sukanya Krishnan left her job at WPIX to go work at Fox 5, starting her first day at the job on August 21.

She later tweeted that her position is permanent and she will be greeting the Fox audience every weekday on Channel 5 besides anchor Jennifer Lahmers.
