A long absence from Channel 5 fans wondering what happened to Cindy Fitzgibbon. Are you wondering where she is now? Well, she’s been out of the game because she recently had an ankle surgery and is recovering peacefully in her home.
When will Cindy Fitzgibbon be back?
Fitzgibbon got surgery on her right ankle on October 13. She has been resting at her Boston home since, where she lives with her husband Chris Gobeille and two sons.
She took to Twitter to giver her followers an update on her status. “Greetings– from my couch! This is where I’ve been since ankle surgery on Friday,” wrote the host, also sharing a video message from her couch.

In the video, she thanked her well-wishers and said she’d see them soon. Unfortunately, she needs to stay off her feet for a few weeks and she won’t be back so soon.
