Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph from Twenty One Pilots claimed the award for Best Rock at the 2017 MTV VMAs for Heavydirtysoul. Coldplay were nominated for A Head Full of Dreams while Fall Out Boy’s Young and Menace also received a nod. Other nominees were Green Day and Foo Fighters.
