A supremely talented Jamaican dancehall musician, “Shabba Ranks” is best known to theworld for his ‘Slack’ lyrical expressions in his songs. He was born on 17th January, 1966 in St. Ann, Jamaica. Ranks gained worldwide fame and success with his unique rapping style rather than his singing. In the year 1991, he signed a recording contract with the ‘Epic Records’. He released his first song from the album ‘Just Reality’ in 1991. The album became a huge hit. From the album, the song titled ‘Mr.Loverman’ was loved by all the music lovers. It also contains other hit songs like ‘Respect’, ‘Pirates Anthem’, ‘Wicked Inna Bed’, ‘Trailer Load A Girls’, ‘Caan Dun’ and ‘Tina A Ling’. After gaining huge success from the album, he released his next album titled ‘Golden Touch’ in the year 1990. He became a renowned name in the music world after the release of the album. After a year, he released his one of the biggest hit album ‘As Raw As Ever’. The album became successful to create positive response to the audience. It was peaked at Number 71 in UK.
