Fox axed hit TV series Lucifer. Will Lucifer return to television?

Transcript

Since Fox canceled Lucifer on May 11, 2018, #SaveLucifer has been spreading like wildfire on Twitter.

Executive producer, Joe Henderson, and the show’s cast were furious and left in distraught by the decision.

Joe even revealed through his tweet that season 3 of ‘Lucifer’ will be ending with a huge cliffhanger.

And that it was one of his strategies to make sure Fox doesn’t cancel the show.

Tom Ellis, who plays the role of Lucifer, also encouraged fans and said that he wishes that Lucifer will be picked up by another network.

Alongside Lucifer, other shows were canceled by their respective networks, which include The Last Man on Earth, The Mick, and Designated Survivor, among more.

While Brooklyn Nine-Nine is already exploring a new home, we can only hope Hulu will pick the show because of its SVOD rights.

Because of Lucifer’s DC roots, Warner Bros TV will likely use the groundswell of fan support to try and get Lucifer a new network/platform.
