One of the founding members of Eagles, Don Henley anchored the band in the world of rock and roll as its co-leader, drummer and frequent frontman. He wrote and sang many signatures songs of the band, including Hotel California, The Long Run, Desperado and Life in the Fast Lane, which are considered classic rock staples.
How Rich Is Don Henley?
Henley was often criticized for being too serious, but he would never have done things in any other way. After the Eagles dismantled in 1980, Henley found considerable success on his solo career. He debuted his solo career with a duet with his then-girlfriend Stevie Nicks on a hit single, Leather and Lace. His first solo album, I Can't Stand Still, was a moderate seller but his second album, Building the Perfect Beast, was a big hit and spawned hit single, Boys of Summer. Following that, he released 3 other studio albums, The End of the Innocence (1989), Inside Job (2000) and Cass County (2015).
He reformed Eagles in 2017 for the Classic West and Classic East rock festivals, hiring Vince Gill and Deacon Frey as the replacement for Glenn Frey. He is currently preparing for a World Tour with the band. They will perform at Aloha Stadium, Honolulu, Hawaii on December 7, 2018.
