Christopher rose to fame after appearing on the MTV television show "Rob & Big" which co-starred professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek. The duo originally met after Christoper was hired as part of a sketch Dyrdek filmed for DC Shoes. They became fast friends and Rob soon hired Boykins to be his full time bodyguard. From November 2006 to April 2008, he and Dyrdek starred in the reality television series Rob & Big on MTV. In 2009, Boykin was hired as a featured cast member on a new Dyrdek MTV show called "Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory" starting in season four. As, of February 2014, that show was aired 59 episodes over six seasons. The reality program takes place in a 25,000 square foot warehouse that is used to design skateboards and run Dyrdek's business empire. The sixth season began airing in January 2014. Boykin created his own clothing company called Big Black (BB / Do Work) in 2007 but later relaunched the line in 2010 with his friend, head designer and Director of Operations Nilo Jones (now VP/C.O.O. of SWAE Watches) who worked with Boykin and Bam Bam at a night club in San Diego, CA called "The Blue Tattoo" in 2001-2002. In 2012, his brand launched its plus sized apparel called the BMN (Big Man Network) and BDP along with the Do Work Union (DWU) for sizes small to extra large.
