Curry is an army brat who was born in Panama. She has attended nine elementary schools. She first received her degree in Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State and later joined the University of Colorado to earned a degree in Journalism.
She began her career as a broadcaster in Victoria, Texas. Later, she moved to Houston, but prior to that, she worked in different other cities like Kansas City, Indianapolis, Denver, Abilene, Chicago, and Texas.

Casey got married to Carl Hahn in 2013. After announcing that she was pregnant in August 2013, the pair welcomed their first child, Winnie, in January 2014.
It was actually KTRK-TV anchor Sharron Melton who announced the arrival of the new member in Casey and Carl’s family. Melton shared an image of Casey on her Facebook page and wrote, “Now I can officially announce, our own Morning Meteorologist Casey Curry is a Mommy! She had her baby girl yesterday & they are both doing great! So happy for the whole Family!!!”
As of now, the family of three is sharing a blissful life residing in the Southeast Texas.
