One of the renowned stage and television actor, director and producer, ‘Carl Anthony Payne’ was born on 24th May, 1969 in Trenton, New Jersey, U.S. He is best known for playing the role of Cole Brown in the Fox network’s television series ‘Martin’. Carl is also recognized for playing the recurring role of Theo Huxtable’s best friend, Cockroach in NBC’s television series ‘The Cosby Show’. He had a keen interest in acting since his childhood days. To pursue his dream of acting, he studied acting at off-Broadway theatre company ‘First All Children’s Theater’. He also attended ‘Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts’ to improve his acting skills. Carl started his acting career from appearing in ‘The Cosby Show’.
