Ami Brown health update: Brown family checked into hospital
Transcript
Are you a fan of Discovery’s Alaskan Bush People?
Then you might be familiar with the Brown family matriarch, Ami Brown’s lung cancer battle.
After nearly a year-long battle, she was declared cancer-free in the fall of 2017.
But now, it seems like her cancer has returned.
Some sources have claimed that Ami appeared in public on March 15 in a wheelchair and she didn’t seem to be well.
In January, Ami revealed that the radiation and chemotherapy had worked and stated that “God really does perform miracles.”
She also revealed that she was given 3% chance to live and her weight dropped to 77lbs.
She later told that she had begun eating regularly and her weight reached 100lbs.
But, recently, it has been reported the Brown family has checked into UCLA medical center.
Ami’s son, Bear Brown, posted a selfie looking rather somber on Instagram on March 30.
He wrote in the caption, ‘Time to Escape from LA!! (Again) #losangeles #freedom #uclamedicalcenter #family #bearbrown.”
The family had moved from their Alaskan homestead to Omak, Washington, in February to film the upcoming season of the show.
Get well soon Ami!
