Melissa Lee
Melissa Lee is a Chinese American journalist acclaimed as the host of CBS’s Fast Money. Formerly she served as an interim host of the show before being named as the host of the show in 2009. Additionally, she also operates as a reporter and news anchor for the channel. Closing Bell, Options Action and Money in Motion: Currency Trading are some of other shows of which Lee has been a part of.
Melissa was fascinated by journalism since her childhood and wanted to pursue her career in it. Before making her debut in the television industry from CNN Financial News, Melissa served as a Management Consultant, dealing with banking and credit cards for Mercer Management Consulting.
42 years-old Melissa Lee was born in a Chinese family on 4th November 1974 in Great Neck, New York. Her father’s ancestors were immigrants from Southern China and her mother’s family were immigrants from Hong Kong. She grew up in Long Islands along with her two siblings, her brother and sister. Renowned for her tough questioning abilities, Melissa graduated from Harvard College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government.
