7. Jim Cantore

Jim Cantore gained his fame as the meteorologist for the Weather Channel. Moreover, the talented weather forecaster started his career back in 1986. Similarly, Cantore stayed loyal to the channel for over three decades. Aside from his work on the network, Jim also accomplished great things. Likewise, he won the AMS Fellow award and was inducted into the Hall of Fame and Silver Circle.

Cantore grew up with his family in Beacon Falls, Connecticut, USA. Moreover, he grew up with a sibling named Vinne Cantore. Jim married Tamara Cantore back in 1990 and later divorced in 2009. What’s more, the meteorologist and his ex-wife welcomed two kids. Besides, their ex-couple named their children Christina Cantore and Ben Cantore.

6. Lester Holt

Lester Holt started his journey as a news journalist in the early 80s. Moreover, he worked for CBS from 1981 to 2000. And after leaving the news network, Holt joined NBC in 2000. Likewise, he still works for the NBC network today. Lester has presented Dateline NBC since 2011.

The 62-year-old news journalist was born Lester Don Holt Jr. to his parents. Holt grew up in California as an only child. Speaking of families, the news reporter married the love of his life, Carol Hagen, back in 1982. He and his wife gave birth to two children. Their eldest son Stefan Holt followed his father’s steps and became a news anchor at WMAQ-TV, but their youngest child Cameron Holds, stays away from the media.
