If you’re wondering why you haven’t been blessed by Sally Nugent lately, it’s because she’s on leave. As a matter of fact, the BBC Breakfast host has been on sick leave because of labrynthitis since late September.
When is Sally Nugent coming back?
Fans have been missing the gorgeous host dearly and have taken to Twitter to convey their concerns.
But, there’s nothing to worry about. Your favorite BBC presenter will be back on television soon enough. On October 8, Nugent tweeted that she’s coming back to work “very soon.”
She also took time to thank fellow hosts John Watson and Katherine Downes for taking over her duties while she recovers peacefully at home.

Watson replied writing, “Pleasure. Pleased to hear you’re closing in on a return to action x.”
Nugent doesn’t have an Instagram, so we’re out of luck on getting photo updates from her. But thanks to Twitter, fans have been able to keep in touch with her.
“Sorry to hear you’ve been off sick, have really missed your lovely smiley face and happy disposition, it’ll be great to have you back,” wrote one Sheila Grant, while another fan tweeted, “Get well soon, Sally, miss your style of sport reporting, but everyone else has been doing a great job!”
Nugent thanked her fans for all the lovely messages on Twitter on October 16 and assured that she’ll be back soon!
Thanks for all the lovely messages. I’m off work for a bit with labrynthitis. Will be back just as soon as the room stops spinning ?
