YouTubers get millions of views every day posting vlogs of mundane activities and are growing exponentially. 

According to teenagers between 13 and 18, most of them feel more connected to YouTube stars than A listed Hollywood celebs. 

Here are some of the YouTubers who have become bigger than Hollywood celebrities. 

Smosh (Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox)

Subscribers: 22 Million+

Net Worth: $11.8M

Smosh became the most subscribed channel on YouTube, once in May 2006, again in April 2007 and last time in January 2013. 

Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla founded the channel and started out by posting lip sync videos and comedy skits.

Nigahiga (Ryan Higa)

Subscribers: 22 Million+

Net Worth: $2 Million

Nigahiga was once the most subscribed channel from August 2009 to June 2011 and held the position for 677 days. 

Ryan started posting lip sync videos on YouTube but quickly moved to other variety of comedy pieces. 

PewDiePie (Felix  Kjellberg)

Subscribers: 57 Million+

Net Worth: $20 Million

PewDiePie is basically the king of YouTube who has added his last 7 million subscribers in just 9 months. 

Felix is famous for his gaming commentaries and vlogs

KSI (Olajide William Olatunji)

Subscribers: 17 Million+

Net Worth: $11 Million

KSI is the most subscribed YouTube channel from England. 

Olajide William Olatunji who runs the channel posts rap videos and comedy skits. 

HolaSoyGerman (Germán Alejandro Garmendia Aranis )

Subscribers: 32 Million+

Net Worth: $9 Million+

Hola Soy German is the second most subscribed YouTube channel in the world. 

Owner of the channel Alejandro Garmendia has a secondary channel called JuegaGerman with 21 million subscribers.
