Do you remember the Danny Partridge, the red-headed little boy on the 1970s famous TV family, The Partridge Family?
The man behind the famous character was Danny Bonaduce, then 10-year-old child actor.
Danny was born on August 13, 1959, in Broomall, Pennsylvania, U.S. to TV writer and producer, Joseph Bonaduce.
He grew up in a dysfunctional family and suffered severe physical and emotional abuses from
his father, though his mother tried to maintain peace.
He started at the age of 10 on ‘The Partridge Family’ and garnered a huge fan base playing the bass guitar player in the series.
Along with David Cassidy, Shirley Jones and Susan Dey, he was one of the highlighting cast members of the 70s’ popular series.
He and David remained good friends before he died on November 21, 2017.
Danny got into drug addiction and saw a period of homelessness in his late teens and twenties.
He became an on-air radio personality in the late 1980s and has since worked as a media personality.
While hosting his own syndicated talk show, The Danny Bonaduce Show in 1996, he brought together the Partridge Family for a reunion on his own show.
From 2001 to 2003, Danny co-hosted a daytime talk show, The Other Half with Dick Clark and Mario Lopez.
In 2005, he had a VH1’s reality TV show, Breaking Bonaduce, documenting his daily life with his family and career.
Since 2011, he has been working on a morning talk show on the Seattle-based radio station, KZOK-FM.
A black belt in Karate, Danny boxed several times for charities. He boxed Donny Osmond, Barry Williams, “Reverend” Bob Levy, Jose Canseco and others.
In 1994, he made his professional wrestling debut against Christopher Knight at Rosemont Horizon and won the match.
He was a key player in Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Wrestling Championship.
In 1985, he married Setsuko Hattori, a Japanese real estate agent. The marriage lasted three years.
On Nov. 4, 1990, he met his second wife, Gretchen Hillmer on a blind date and married her the same day.
The couple welcomed two children, Isabella and Dante before they divorced citing irreconcilable differences after 16 years of marriage.
In April 2007, he met his current wife, Amy Railsback at a Starbucks and the two married in November 2010.
Currently, he is active on social media and has been entertaining people in various ways.
